Claude Setup

The fastest way to use InsightfulPipe in Claude is to add it from the Claude Directory, which connects all your connected accounts in one click. To limit Claude to one platform, add that platform's server URL as a custom connector instead.

Before you start

  • At least one account connected in InsightfulPipe. See First Connection.
  • Every Claude plan can add custom connectors, and the Free plan is limited to one. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner first adds the connector under Organization settings > Connectors, then each member clicks Connect in Customize > Connectors.

Fastest: the Claude Directory

Open InsightfulPipe in the Claude Directory. One click connects the full InsightfulPipe MCP with all your connected accounts. Finish by clicking Authorize access in the browser.

Add one platform as a custom connector

  1. Copy the server URL from MCP Servers in the app, for example https://google-ads.insightfulmcp.com/.
  2. Open Claude Connectors Settings (Customize > Connectors).
  3. Click +, then Add custom connector.
  4. Paste the URL and click Add.
  5. Click Connect on the connector to start authorization.
  6. Click Authorize access in the browser to complete the connection.

Once connected, start a new chat, click +, open Connectors and turn on the connector to use it.

Tips

  • Add several platform connectors, for example Google Ads and Google Analytics 4, and turn both on to compare them in one chat.
  • The unified URL https://main.insightfulmcp.com/ also works as a custom connector.
  • Claude only sees the accounts your InsightfulPipe role can access, and only the actions enabled for each account.
  • If a request fails, check the error text against Troubleshooting.
  • Other clients: ChatGPT, Claude Code.
