Google Search Console MCP connector

The Google Search Console connector lets AI agents query search performance and inspect indexing for your verified properties through InsightfulPipe's hosted MCP server at https://google-search-console.insightfulmcp.com/. It covers search analytics, URL inspection for up to 50 URLs per call, an indexing audit of top pages, and sitemaps.

Actions: 10 (8 read, 2 write). Workspace owners, admins and operators choose which actions each connected account exposes, and destructive actions are off by default.

Add it from a terminal, then click Authorize access in the browser window that opens:

What agents can do

Search analytics: clicks, impressions, CTR and average position grouped by date, query, page, device, country or search appearance.
URL inspection: indexing status, mobile usability and rich results for one URL, or up to 50 URLs in one call.
Indexing audit: check_indexing_issues checks your top pages by traffic for indexing problems, canonical mismatches and mobile issues.
Sitemaps: list sitemaps, get a sitemap's details, submit a sitemap and remove one.
Properties: list the properties your Google login can access and get a property's details.

Before you connect

A Google login with access to the property in Search Console. Domain and URL-prefix properties both work.

Connect Google Search Console

In the InsightfulPipe app, open Connectors, choose Google Search Console and click Connect.
Sign in with Google and approve access.
Select the properties to connect.
Add the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or another client, then click Authorize access.

Permissions and safety

Reading uses the webmasters.readonly scope. Submitting and removing sitemaps are write actions and need a connection with write access.
delete_sitemap is destructive, so it stays off until an owner, admin or operator enables it in Configure actions for this account.

Limits

The Search Console API has no Core Web Vitals or Page indexing (coverage) report. Indexing status is per URL. For Core Web Vitals, use the PageSpeed Insights connector.
Search Console data arrives with a delay, so the most recent days can be incomplete.

Troubleshooting

A property is missing: confirm the Google login has access to it in Search Console, then reconnect.
Today shows no data: ask for a range that ends a few days ago.
"This action is disabled for this connected account." An owner, admin or operator must enable it.
