What is InsightfulPipe?

It sits between your platform accounts and your AI client. You connect accounts such as Google Ads, Meta Ads or Google Analytics 4 once in the app, then add an MCP server URL to your AI client. The agent calls InsightfulPipe, InsightfulPipe calls the platform API, and the result comes back to the chat.

Which AI clients work?

The app has setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, the ChatGPT & Codex app, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Codex CLI. See Claude Setup, ChatGPT Setup and Other Clients.

Is there a command-line option?

Yes. Install the CLI with npm install -g insightfulpipe and sign in with insightfulpipe auth. See InsightfulPipe CLI.

How much does it cost?

Servers and connections

Should I add one server per platform or one for everything?

Both work. Each platform has its own server, such as https://google-ads.insightfulmcp.com/, which only exposes that platform. The unified server https://main.insightfulmcp.com/ exposes every connected source through one connection. The Claude Directory and ChatGPT app directory listings connect the unified server.

Where do I find a server's URL?

Open MCP Servers in the app sidebar and pick the platform. Its guide shows the URL, the server name (for example google-ads-mcp) and steps for each AI client. The same servers are listed in the MCP server directory.

Can I connect several accounts on the same platform?

Yes. The connect flows for platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads let you select several accounts at once, and each account becomes its own connection. Connections count toward your plan's connection limit.

Data and permissions

Does InsightfulPipe copy my platform data?

Data is fetched live from each platform's API when your agent asks for it. Platform tokens are stored encrypted, and the workspace activity log records the API calls made through your workspace.

Can an agent change my campaigns?

Only if you allow it. When you connect most platforms you choose Permissions: Read Only or Read + Write. On a Read Only connection every write action is locked. On a Read & Write connection, owners, administrators and operators choose which actions each account exposes with Configure actions for this account, and destructive actions such as deletes stay off until someone enables them. Members with the User role can only run read actions.

What happens when a connection stops working?

The Connectors page shows a status such as Expired or Reconnect required. Click Reconnect now and sign in to the platform again. See Troubleshooting.
