Facebook Pages MCP connector

The Facebook Pages connector lets AI agents read Page insights, publish content and moderate comments on your Facebook Pages through InsightfulPipe's hosted MCP server at https://facebook-pages.insightfulmcp.com/. It covers Page and post metrics, posts, photos, videos, reels and stories, and comment replies, hiding and deletion.

What agents can do

Page insights: reach, views, post engagements, Page views, follows and video views over a date range.
Content and post insights: list posts, reels, videos and stories, and get details and insights for a post.
Publishing: text and link posts, image posts, multi-image posts (2 to 10 photos), slideshows from 3 to 7 images, reels, videos from a URL, and photo or video stories. Existing post text can be edited.
Comments: read comments, add a first comment to a post, reply, hide or unhide, and delete one or many comments.

Before you connect

A Facebook login with access to the Page. Publishing needs the Page task that lets you create content, and moderating comments needs the moderate task.
get_stories only returns stories when the Page's story archive is turned on.

Connect Facebook Pages

In the InsightfulPipe app, open Connectors, choose Facebook Pages and click Connect.
Choose Read Only or Read + Write.
Sign in with Facebook and approve access.
Select the Pages to connect.
Add the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or another client, then click Authorize access.

Permissions and safety

Publishing and comment moderation need Read + Write. Read Only connections can read insights, posts and comments.
Posts publish to the Page when the action runs.
delete_post, delete_comment and bulk_delete_comments are destructive, so they stay off until an owner, admin or operator enables them in Configure actions for this account.

Limits

No audience demographics (age, gender or location) for Pages.
Reels must be 9:16, 540x960 to 1080x1920, 3 to 90 seconds and 24 to 60 fps, with up to 30 reels a day. Video stories run 3 to 60 seconds.
Slideshow images can be JPG, PNG, BMP or ICO up to 10 MB each. Photo stories accept JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF or TIFF up to 10 MB (1 MB for PNG).

Troubleshooting

Publishing fails with a permission error: your Facebook login needs the Page task for creating content, and the connection needs Read + Write.
No stories returned: turn on the story archive for the Page.
"This action is disabled for this connected account." An owner, admin or operator must enable it.
