Yes, when the connected user is allowed to publish. New posts and pages are saved as drafts unless your assistant sets the status to publish. It can also update posts and pages, media details, comments, categories and tags.

You control the risk. Choose exactly which actions your AI can use on each site, and connect with a WordPress user whose role matches what you want the assistant to do. Deleting media, comments, categories and tags stays off until an owner, admin or operator enables it. Updates to published posts and pages go live immediately, so turn off the update actions where agents should only draft. Restricted members only get read actions on the sites they are granted.

Yes. Connect each site separately. When more than one site is connected, name the site you want in your request. Each site counts as one connection on your plan.

Use Connect with WordPress to approve InsightfulPipe on your own site, which needs an https:// site running WordPress 5.6 or newer, or paste a username and Application Password. InsightfulPipe never sees your WordPress password and stores the Application Password encrypted. Your AI client signs in to the MCP server with your InsightfulPipe account.

Media files cannot be uploaded through the server, only media details updated. Plugins, themes, site settings and users cannot be managed, and there is no analytics data. Posts and pages are covered, but custom post types can only be listed and found through search. Your host or security plugins must allow access to the WordPress REST API.

No. WooCommerce orders, products and customers are available through the separate WooCommerce MCP server, which you can connect alongside WordPress.
