Yes, on accounts connected with Read & Write access. It can create image pins from public image URLs with one image or 2 to 5 images, create and update boards and sections, and save existing pins to your boards. Pins go live as soon as they are created, with no drafts or scheduling over MCP.

There are no delete actions over MCP, so your assistant cannot remove pins, boards or sections. You can connect accounts as Read-only, and on Read & Write accounts you choose exactly which actions your AI can use. Pins cannot be edited after they are created, so review the title, link and board before your assistant creates one. Restricted members only get read actions on the accounts they are granted.

Yes. Connect each Pinterest account with its own sign-in, and your assistant can work with any of them. Each account counts as one connection on your plan.

You connect Pinterest to InsightfulPipe with Pinterest OAuth. Read-only connections grant access to your account, boards and pins; Read & Write connections add permission to create pins and boards. Your AI client then signs in to the MCP server with your InsightfulPipe account and receives an InsightfulPipe access token, not your Pinterest login.

There are no board-level analytics, no delete actions and no pin editing. Existing pins cannot be moved between sections, although they can be saved to another board or section. Analytics cover the last 90 days. Video pins need the file uploaded to the URL Pinterest returns, which most chat clients cannot do.
